Breaking Through: Overcoming Energy Blocks and Unlocking Your Potential through Mindset work

Have you ever felt stuck, like no matter how much effort you put in, you keep running into invisible walls? These barriers aren’t just in your mind - they are energetic blocks that hold you back from living fully.

I have been there several times in my life, most recently a year or so ago when I felt stuck.  All the work I had done spiritually just wasn’t cutting it.  It was then I realized that I still had deeply ingrained programs in my mind that were acting like a wall, and it was time to knock them down.  I started a process of looking at all my practices, and added mindset work while returning to many basics, that I had left behind through the busyness of life.

Energy blocks can manifest as procrastination, self-doubt, repetitive negative patterns, or even physical tension. They often stem from past experiences, limiting beliefs, or unprocessed emotions. But here’s the good news: you don’t have to stay stuck, and once I moved through those blocks my life shifted into ease.  People even began to notice a shift in my energy.


Recognizing Energy Blocks

The first step to releasing energy blocks is awareness. Here are some common signs:

  • Feeling heavy or drained despite rest and self-care.

  • Repeating the same struggles in relationships, career, or personal growth.

  • A nagging inner voice telling you that you’re not good enough or can’t succeed.

  • Procrastination or avoidance of important tasks or opportunities.

  • Unexplained physical symptoms, such as tension in the shoulders or gut discomfort.

Releasing Energy Blocks

Once you recognize these patterns, you can begin to release them with intention. Here are a few practices:

  1. Mindful Awareness & Reflection – Journaling or meditating on where you feel stuck can reveal the deeper layers of your blockages. Ask yourself: When did this feeling start? What emotions are attached to it?

  2. Breathwork & Movement – Stagnant energy needs to move! Practices like deep breathing, yoga, or even dancing can help shift what’s stuck.

  3. Releasing with Ritual – Writing down old beliefs or experiences and safely burning or tearing the paper is a powerful act of letting go.

  4. Energy Healing & Spiritual Practices – Modalities like Reiki, Crystal Dreaming, or sound healing can help dissolve blocked energy.

  5. Inner Child & Shadow Work – Sometimes, the blocks we face are rooted in past wounds. Connecting with your inner child or exploring shadow work can bring deep healing.


A New Path Forward

Energy blocks aren’t meant to be lifelong obstacles - they are invitations to deepen your self-awareness and grow into your full potential. By recognizing and releasing them, you open yourself up to clarity, creativity, and alignment with your true path.
